The home team come into this one on the back of having only played two competitive games this year and they both came in the league phase of the UEFA Europa League last month. They defeated Ludogorets Razgrad by two goals to nil in Bulgaria before then sharing an entertaining 2-2 draw with Fenerbahce at the MCH Arena.

Imanol Aguacil is in charge of a Real Sociedad side that have been very impressive in recent years but the Basque giants have underwhelmed this time around. La Real come into this one on the back of a couple of much-needed victories as they defeated Osasuna in the Copa del Rey before edging past struggling Espanyol at the weekend.
