Midtjylland vs Celtic prediction
Having scraped into the league phase, Midtjylland have been very impressive with three wins from three as they begin the fourth match day sitting at the top-of-the-table. They shared a 1-1 draw with Danish league leaders AGF at the weekend to mean that they are now unbeaten in their last 11 matches across all competitions.
Since they last played in the UEFA Europa League, Brendan Rodgers has resigned and been heavily criticised by the club, replaced by former manager Martin O’Neill on an interim basis. O’Neill managed to oversee a 4-0 win against Falkirk last week before an extra-time defeat of Old Firm rivals Rangers in the Scottish League Cup.
Celtic do have a retired manager at the helm and that will eventually catch up with them and Midtjylland are favourites, especially at home, for what should be an intriguing clash for the neutral.
