Middlesbrough vs Ipswich prediction

Rob Edwards’ Middlesbrough come into this one on the back of a slender 1-0 defeat to Portsmouth at Fratton Park ahead of the October international break. After a brilliant start to the campaign, the Smoggies are now winless in three matches after draws to Southampton and Stoke City before that loss.

They now face an Ipswich Town side that, coached by Kieran McKenna, have begun to find some rhythm and some form of late after a slow-ish start for the much-changed, big spending Tractor Boys. They most recently eased past ‘Old Farm Derby’ rivals Norwich City at Portman Road a couple of weeks ago.

Ipswich are finding their form and will fancy their chances of, at least, avoiding defeat in North Yorkshire against a ‘Boro side that are faltering at the moment.

Middlesbrough vs Ipswich tip: Double chance – Ipswich to win or draw
