Middlesbrough vs Birmingham City prediction

Middlesbrough’s season has been an excellent one but their hard work is in danger of becoming undone following a big development regarding head coach Rob Edwards, who is being courted by Premier League club Wolves. Edwards has not taken training leading into this match and it would be no surprise if we did see him depart Middlesbrough.

The drama surrounding Edwards is unlikely to have helped Boro in terms of preparation going into a big game against a Birmingham City side full of confidence after consecutive 4-0 thrashings of Portsmouth and Millwall respectively. With the hosts having not won in their last three, the shrewd move would be to back Birmingham getting a positive result via the double chance market, either a draw or win.

Middlesbrough vs Birmingham City tip: Double chance draw/Birmingham City
