Having booked their spot in North America next summer, the South Koreans began their preparations for the tournament with an impressive 2-0 defeat of the disorganised and underwhelming United States the other day, courtesy of first-half goals from Son Heung-min and Lee Dong-gyeong.
The Koreans have made themselves very steady and difficult to beat, which is also the archetypal Javier Aguirre style of football, and so this is unlikely to be a thriller for the neutral.
