Mexico vs Colombia prediction

Under the management of former Real Mallorca boss Javier Aguirre, Mexico have been improving over the last 12-18 months or so, as shown by winning both the CONCACAF Nations League and the CONCACAF Gold Cup. El Tri most recently shared a couple of draws with Japan and then South Korea last month.

Colombia had been one of the strongest sides in international football heading into the CONMEBOL Copa America last summer and they have remained strong, albeit have certainly regressed in the last 18 months or so. The Colombians most recently defeated Venezuela by six goals to three in Caracas last month.

These are two sides showing real signs of progress and intrigue ahead of next summer and it should therefore be a very interesting clash for the neutral in Dallas.

Mexico vs Colombia tip: Both teams to score
