Adelaide United Team News: Nothing fresh

Adelaide United head to Victoria this weekend with a few injury issues, particularly defensively, such as goalkeeper Max Vartuli as well as full-backs Javi Lopez and Bradley O’Neil, whilst Panashe Madanha is also sidelined.

Melbourne Victory vs Adelaide United Prediction

The Melbourne Victory were in good form ahead of the March international break but their most recent outing saw them suffer a 4-2 loss to the Western Sydney Wanderers a couple of weeks ago at the CommBank Stadium in a game in which they had taken a 2-0 lead before the game turned late on.

They now face an Adelaide United side that have appeared the strongest side in the league this season at times, or at least the closest challengers to Auckland, but their form has majorly dipped. Their 5-4 loss to Macarthur a couple of weeks ago means that they are now winless in their last five A League matches.

The Melbourne Victory will be expected to bounce back and especially with their home advantage. They do seem a little underwhelming and unconvincing at the back, though.
