Melbourne Storm vs Parramatta Eels prediction
Both these two teams come into this encounter with high hopes, particularly the hosts when taking into account their recent record against Parramatta. Melbourne Storm have beaten the Eels in each of their last six matches and that’s before you take into account how good they historically are in their opening NRL fixture of the season down the years.
It’s now been 23 years since the Storm losing in the first round of league games and head coach Craig Bellamy is unbeaten in this round across his career. This won’t be an easy assignment though, with Parramatta’s roster looking the strongest that we’ve seen them produce for a number of years. However, the Storm are at home and have to be favoured.
