Leading 2-0 at home to Wellington Phoenix, Perth conceded late in first half stoppage time which changed the course of the match. An equaliser followed in the second half and David Zdrilic had just a point to show for their efforts.
Melbourne City also drew their first game of the season, but the reigning A-League champions are likely to prove a force at home over the course of this campaign and at their best, are capable of overcoming any team in the league on any given day.
