Mauritius are one of the weakest sides in African international football as they now finish off their campaign with a clash against Libya at the National Sports Complex.

Kick-off date/time:

How to watch on TV: UK – Not televised / US – Not televised

Key Stats

  • Mauritius have won only two of their previous 29 World Cup qualifying matches (D5 L22).
  • Libya have lost only two of their last ten World Cup qualifying matches (W4 D4).

Mauritius vs Libya Prediction

Mauritius come into this one on the back of a 2-0 defeat at home to Cameroon the other day due to goals from Michael Ngamaleu and Bryan Mbeumo. The home team have managed just one victory in their nine qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, conceding 17 goals in those nine games.

Libya are seeking to finish their campaign with a bit of a flourish and they put in an impressive performance against likely qualifiers Cape Verde the other day. The Libyans were 1-0 and then 3-1 up against the overperforming islanders before succumbing to a 3-3 draw.

Libya have proven themselves to be more competitive in the last half a decade or so and they would have to be viewed as the favourites for this one in Mauritius.

Mauritius vs Libya Tip: Double chance – Libya to win or draw & under 3.5 goals
