Kick-off date/time:

How to watch on TV: UK – Not televised / US – Not televised

How to watch online: UK – FIFA+ / US – FIFA+

Key Stats

  • Mauritius have won only two of their previous 28 World Cup qualifying matches (D5 L21).
  • Cameroon have won all their previous five international matches against Mauritius.
  • A defeat for Cameroon would see them lose successive World Cup qualifying matches for the first time since the campaign for the 1982 finals.

Mauritius vs Cameroon Prediction

With two games in Group D of CAF qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup to go, things are very interesting. Cape Verde sit at the top on 19 points with the Cameroonians four points further back, but Cape Verde travel to Libya this week, with the Libyans sitting five behind Cape Verde and just a point behind Cameroon.

Mauritius have managed just one victory in their eight matches so far in this qualifying campaign. They come into this one on the back of a 3-1 loss to Angola in the September international break. The Cameroonians have a strong squad and have been difficult to beat, but their loss last month leaves them in a very difficult position.

Despite the lack of fluency of the Cameroonians, they will be expected to win this one quite comfortably against what is a poor Mauritius side this week.

Mauritius vs Cameroon Tip: Cameroon to win -1 handicap
