Martin Schindler vs Ryan Searle prediction
Martin Schindler has been hugely impressive so far, dropping just one set across his two victories, most recently defeating Kane Barry 3-0 with the aid of a 96.16 average.
The German is a tough man to beat at Alexandra Palace having now reached the third round in three of the last four years, and his scoring in particular has been impressive in the tournament with his 180 count currently standing at 12.
Ryan Searle, though, has gone one better than Schindler having recorded back-to-back 3-0 victories over Chris Landman and Brendan Dolan.
'Heavy Metal' hasn't had his strongest year when it comes to TV tournaments but he is now seeking a last 16 berth in the PDC World Darts Championship for the fourth time in his career.
Searle is also a frequent maximum-hitter, and in what should be a high quality tungsten tussle, we're expecting plenty of 180s.
