Marseille Team News: A few issues

Marseille have a couple of key doubts as Valentin Rongier deals with illness, whilst Amine Harit is also a key doubt after returning to full fitness from an ACL injury last month. Key centre-back Chancel Mbemba is also still unavailable for the hosts.

Predicted XI (3-4-1-2): Rulli; Michael Amir Murillo, Balerdi, Cornelius; Luiz Henrique, Bennacer, Hojbjerg, Merlin; Rabiot; Greenwood, Gouiri

Unavailable: Ruben Blanco (Injured), Mbemba (Injured), Moumbagna (Injured)

Questionable: Rongier (Illness), Harit (Injured)

Saint-Etienne Team News: Still no Old

New Zealand international attacking midfielder Ben Old remains sidelined due to an ACL injury for Saint-Etienne. The Greens also have a couple of key injury doubts such as Maxime Bernauer and Ibrahima Wadji.

Predicted XI (4-3-3): Larsonneur; Appiah, Petrot, Nade, Cornud; Bouchouari, Ekwah, Mouton; Boakye, Stassin, Davitashvili

Unavailable: Old (Injured)

Questionable: Bernauer (Injured), Moueffek (Illness), Wadji (Injured)

Marseille vs Saint-Etienne Prediction

Olympique de Marseille come into this one on the back of a comfortable 2-0 defeat of Angers last weekend as they sit tucked inside the top three of Ligue 1 but some way off runaway league leaders Paris Saint-Germain. Saint-Etienne most recently suffered a 2-0 loss to fellow strugglers Stade Rennais at Stade Geoffrey-Guichard last weekend with the visitors having now managed just one victory in their last ten matches across all competitions. Marseille have been known to throw in a daft result at the Velodrome but they are firm favourites for this one and should run out as comfortable winners down on the south coast.

Marseille vs Saint-Etienne Tip: Marseille to win -1 handicap
