Marseille vs Lens prediction

Ahead of the 19th match day of the 2025/26 Ligue 1 campaign, Lens sit at the top-of-the-table, a point above defending champions Paris Saint-Germain. Marseille are a further seven points back but they can close the gap on Lens this weekend.

Roberto De Zerbi’s inconsistent hosts have continued that in the last week with a thrilling 5-2 victory over Angers at Stade Raymond Kopa last week being followed up by a 3-0 defeat to Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League. Pierre Sage and his Lens side head down to the south coast with a 1-0 win over Auxerre last week extending their winning streak to ten matches across all competitions.

Marseille are brilliant at their best but they are simply far too erratic and Lens will fancy themselves to be able to simply control the hosts and at least avoid defeat.

Marseille vs Lens tip: Double chance – Lens to win or draw
