Man Utd vs Leicester Prediction

Manchester United have endured a horrible couple of months since the appointment of Ruben Amorim, despite some encouraging results along the way, but they remain focused in the cup.

The Red Devils come into this one on the back of a 2-0 defeat at home to Crystal Palace at Old Trafford last weekend due to a second-half brace scored by Jean-Philippe Mateta. That means United have managed just eight victories in 19 matches across all competitions since Amorim’s arrival during the November international break.

Leicester City had a mini new manager bounce following the early-December appointment of Van Nistelrooy. However, the Foxes then endured a seven-match losing streak in the Premier League before a shock come from behind 2-1 defeat of Tottenham Hotspur a fortnight ago. They were then hammered 4-0 by Everton at Goodison Park last weekend, though.

Manchester United have a limited squad, both in terms of quality and depth, as they approach a hectic final few months of the campaign. Leicester, though, are expected to heavily rotate with survival in the Premier League being the priority so United should get another unconvincing win.
