Man Utd vs Atletico Madrid prediction

Man Utd produced a superb away performance last week to defeat Atletico Madrid 0-3 and they are now in a commanding position in the tie ahead of this second leg.

An early strike from Elisabeth Terland set the tone in Spain, with Melvine Malard doubling the advantage before the break. Julia Zigiotte Olme then added a third late in the second half to ensure that Marc Skinner's side are now heavy favourites to progress to the last eight.

Atletico were simply unable to get going in the first leg and will have to improve considerably if they are to launch an unlikely comeback, but it is clear that they are still getting used to the methods of recently-appointed coach Jose Herrera.

Should this return fixture play out in a similar manner to last week, and the is no reason to believe otherwise, another win to nil for Utd beckons.
