Man City vs Salford prediction

In the third round this time, City went a goal better than that aforementioned demolition of Salford as they hammered League One side Exeter City by ten goals to one at the Etihad Stadium. The hosts kept up their pursuit of Arsenal at the top-of-the-table in the Premier League with a comfortable 3-0 win over Fulham the other day.

Salford are in contention for a top three finish and automatic promotion in League Two but Karl Robinson’s side have succumbed to two 1-0 defeats to Chesterfield and Accrington Stanley in their last three matches as they drift. Those defeats were their first losses since the start of December.

Salford have been very impressive but are perhaps stuttering and the streakiness of Robinson sides will make them fearful. A heavy home win is to be expected once again, regardless of that anyway.

Man City vs Salford tip: Man City to win -3 handicap
