Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City head into this one on the back of a very frustrating start to 2026. Exeter City are involved in the relegation battle in League One, albeit over half of the division are, as the Grecians sit 14th in the third-tier table but just four points clear of the bottom four and the relegation places. The visitors shared an entertaining 2-2 draw with Huddersfield Town last week, courtesy of a late Jayden Wareham equaliser.
Exeter have been improved and that result has helped their form now read just two defeats in eight across all competitions but that shouldn’t prevent quite a heavy loss against City here.
