Man City suffered their first setback in some time when they lost 1-0 away to Aston Villa last weekend, which ended their nine-game unbeaten run in all competitions.

Man City team news: Positive outlook
Guardiola confirmed that Erling Haaland was fully fit after a recent knock, while Rodri should make the squad but may be used from the bench as he's eased back into action.
The City squad otherwise has a clean bill of health with defender Abdukodir Khusanov playing an hour on his return from injury against Swansea.

This is a fascinating contest between Guardiola's City and a Bournemouth side who have been so impressive this season. Indeed, the Cherries find themselves above their hosts in the Premier League table and certainly look a team capable of finishing in one of the European places.
