Malta vs San Marino prediction
Despite their improvement in the UEFA Nations League, the Maltese come into this one on the back of a 1-1 draw with Lithuania to continue a winless start to their UEFA qualification campaign for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. They were humiliated by the Netherlands the other day, suffering an 8-0 loss in Amsterdam.
San Marino surprised everyone by achieving automatic promotion to League C of the UEFA Nations League last autumn, finishing above Liechtenstein and Gibraltar in League D Group 1. The Sammarinese did, though, most recently suffer a 6-0 hammering at the hands of Bosnia-Herzegovina the other day.
San Marino have been improving and will try and get after Malta on occasion here, albeit the Maltese remain the favourites for this one with their home advantage.
