Mallorca preview: Struggling Majorcans
Real Mallorca begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting just outside of the bottom three and the relegation places with just two victories in their 11 matches this season, amid issues involving Jago Arrasate and experienced midfielder Dani Rodriguez.
The Balearic Islanders come into this one on the back of a 3-0 hammering at the hands of Real Betis at La Cartuja last weekend due to a brace from Brazil international winger Antony and one strike from Morocco international attacker Abde Ez.
Getafe preview: Stubborn Getafe
Under the management of Jose Bordalas, who is in his second stint in charge of Getafe, the visitors have been very impressive at the start of this season as they hover just outside of the top six and the European spots in La Liga.
The Madrid-based outfit head into this one on the back of back-to-back victories against Athletic Club and then Girona, either side of an 11-0 demolition of Inter de Valdemoro in the first round of the Copa del Rey.

Mallorca vs Getafe prediction
There is a lot of pressure on Mallorca boss Jago Arrasate. They have lacked quality this season, even with the emergence of Jan Virgili from Barcelona and loanee Mateo Joseph from Leeds United. Getafe have been one of the most difficult teams to play against under Jose Bordalas and now the visitors will believe they can continue their evolved, more proactive style of football, too, especially against an average Majorcan side.
Mallorca vs Getafe tip: Double chance – Getafe to win or draw & under 3.5 goals
