Mallorca vs Alaves prediction

Real Mallorca come into this one on the back of a 1-0 loss to Real Sociedad at the Reale Arena in the Basque Country in midweek. The Majorcans are winless in their opening six matches of the campaign. Jago Arrasate is also dealing with major off-field issues due to a falling out between himself and club captain Dani Rodriguez.

They now face a Deportivo Alaves side that managed to earn themselves a 1-1 draw against a solid Getafe side at the Coliseum the other day. The Basque outfit have started their 2025/26 La Liga season with two victories, two draws and two defeats as they sit firmly in the middle-of-the-table.

This is getting into must-win territory for Mallorca and manager Jago Arrasate, and they simply have to be seen as the slight favourites for a likely low-scoring encounter.

Mallorca vs Alaves tip: Real Mallorca to win & under 3.5 goals
