Mainz fell to a fourth consecutive Bundesliga defeat last weekend, losing 2-1 away to Stuttgart, meaning they remain inside the bottom three. Whilst it was a better performance from the team, Stuttgart wound up too strong and when things aren’t going your way, you can end up going home empty handed despite playing well.

Werder Bremen preview: Building momentum

Werder Bremen secured a third league win of the 2025-26 campaign last time out by defeating Union Berlin by one goal to nil in a dogged, determined and fighting performance.
