Maccabi Tel-Aviv vs Bologna prediction

It has been a difficult league phase in the UEFA Europa League for Maccabi Tel-Aviv. They begin the final match day sitting rock-bottom in the 36-team table with just one point collected from their seven matches thus far. Their most recent outing saw them suffer a 2-1 loss to Hapoel Tel-Aviv in the derby the other day.

They now face a Bologna side that have underperformed in the last couple of months but, under the management of Vincenzo Italiano, they sit just outside of the top eight with a chance of breaking in. They haven’t lost in the competition since the opening match day when Aston Villa defeated them at Villa Park.

Maccabi Tel-Aviv may make things tedious for a Bologna side lacking form but the visitors have to remain favourites in a likely low-scoring encounter on neutral territory.

Maccabi Tel-Aviv vs Bologna tip: Bologna to win & under 3.5 goals
