Defeat in Auckland FC’s last game against Newcastle Jets looked like it would cost them top spot in the table, but slip-ups from both Sydney FC and Brisbane Roar has seen them cling on at the summit. Meanwhile, Macarthur have won three of their last four games, racking up ten points from a possible 12 in the process. This is a perfect time for them to be hosting the league leaders.
Macarthur have momentum in their favour, not to mention home advantage. Auckland did not convince defensively against the Jets and it would be no surprise to see Macarthur have success vs the same backline. With that in mind, consider backing the hosts to gain at least a point if not all three.
