Lyon vs PAOK prediction
Paulo Fonseca and his Olympique Lyonnais side head into the final match day of the campaign sitting at the top-of-the-table and just one point ahead of Aston Villa on goal difference. Lyon managed to also move into the top four of Ligue 1 at the weekend, too, with a 5-2 demolition of Metz at Stade Saint-Symphorien.
PAOK Salonika are in the hunt to squeeze themselves into the top eight of the table. They managed to defeat Real Betis by two goals to nil at the Toumba Stadium in Thessaloniki last week, courtesy of second-half strikes from Andrija Zivkovic and Georgios Giakoumakis.
Seven PAOK supporters died in a car accident on their way to Lyon and so the game will perhaps be a bit of a footnote for many given the emotional circumstances.
On the pitch, PAOK have shown themselves to be able to bloody the noses of the biggest clubs in this competition but Lyon have to remain favourites with their home advantage.
