Luke Woodhouse vs Krzysztof Ratajski prediction
Luke Woodhouse finds himself in the fourth round for the second year in a row following a fine 4-1 victory over Andrew Gilding last time out.
The 25th seed has increased his levels with each victory, and finished his contest with Gilding with an average of 95.66, although he will be looking to tidy up on his finishing with only a third of his attempts finding their target in that match.
He will almost certainly need to improve his numbers against a clinical Krzysztof Ratajaski, who is now bidding to reach the quarter-finals for the second time in his career after his last-eight appearance in 2021.
The Pole survived three match darts from Wesley Plaisier in the third round, but made some crucial checkouts in coming from 1-3 down to defeat the Dutchman in the deciding set.
The bookies are fairly split on this one and it is likely to be decided by fine margins. Ratajski, though, has been just a little more clinical with his finishing and that could make the difference in the crucial moments.
