Luke Littler vs Rob Cross prediction
Yet to drop a set in his defence of the world title, Luke Littler is ominously moving through the draw and delivered what was statistically his best ever PDC World Darts Championship performance in the third round, averaging 107.09 in a 4-0 whitewash of Mensur Suljovic.
The world number one converted an astonishing 70.6% of his doubles against his Austrian opponent, and it is looking like it will take some performance to prize the world crown away from the youngster.
Although not reaching those levels, Rob Cross has steadily improved with each round, and was clinical in his 4-0 defeat of Damon Heta in the third round.
The 2018 world champion will need to find something extra for Littler though, and is facing a man he has lost against in five of their six meetings in 2025.
Cross has enough class to at least win a set, but Littler looks in the mood right now and should prevail.
