Luke Humphries vs Paul Lim prediction
While Luke Humphries wasn't at his brilliant best in his 3-1 win over Ted Evetts, his 98.58 average was still higher than the vast majority of first-round participants and there are clearly more gears available to the former world champion.
The second favourite to go all the way behind his namesake Luke Littler, Humphries will feel more settled now that he has got past the first hurdle, and it would be no surprise to see a three-figure average here.
Standing in his way is crowd favourite Paul Lim, with the 71-year-old rolling back the years with a 3-1 victory over Jeffrey de Graaf in the first round.
That performance was no fluke though, with the 'Singapore Slinger' having been runner-up at the WDF World Darts Championship last year, and he can clearly still play to a high level.
Humphries is simply a class above most though. After hitting eight 180s in his opener, he is likely to hit plenty here, while Lim is no stranger to a maximum himself. With that in mind, over 6.5 180s is the tip.
Luke Humphries vs Paul Lim tip: Over 6.5 180s
