Ludogorets vs Midtjylland Prediction

As they head into the final two games of the UEFA Europa League campaign, Ludogorets Razgrad are four points adrift of the top 24 and upcoming opponents, Midtjylland, this week.

The Bulgarian champions are one of five teams that remain winless in the 2024/25 UEFA Europa League league phase. The home team come into this one on the back of not playing competitive football since they defeated Botev Plovdiv by four goals to two last month and they are now unbeaten in their last nine matches across all competitions.

Midtjylland, under the management of Thomas Thomasberg, sit second in the Danish Superliga with a reasonable chance of qualifying for the knockout playoffs of this season’s UEFA Europa League. Their most recent outing in this competition saw them suffer a 2-0 defeat to Porto at the Estadio do Dragao last month.

Midtjylland will fancy their chances of getting at Ludogorets on the counter-attack this week with the Bulgarians likely to take the game to their opposition with their natural attacking tendencies and home advantage so it could be quite a fun watch for the neutral.
