Lorient vs Angers prediction

Following their promotion to the top-flight last season, Lorient enjoyed a three-match winning streak as they tried to push for European qualification with impressive off-field operations. However, their most recent outing did see them suffer a 2-0 loss to Stade Brest last weekend.

They now face an Angers side that, with Alexandre Dujeux at the helm, have massively overperformed to comfortably punch clear of the bottom three and the danger zone in Ligue 1. They now come into this one on the back of back-to-back 1-0 victories against Toulouse and Metz.

Angers are a very solid side with low-scoring tendencies, contrary to Lorient, but if they are to be drawn out by anyone then the hosts may well be the team to do so.

Lorient vs Angers tip: Both teams to score
