Lincoln vs Reading prediction

Under the management of Michael Skubala, Lincoln City come into this season on the back of a fairly quiet summer transfer window. The Imps will still be expected to be competitive this year, albeit they have lost a couple of key players over the summer, such as Sean Roughan in defence and Ethan Erhahon in midfield.

They now face a Reading side that are finally in the post-Dai Yongge era, with the Royals now able to rebuild into becoming something of a healthy club. Noel Hunt remains in the dugout in Berkshire, with them having punched well above their weight given the circumstances, missing out on the top six on the final day last year.

Lincoln City have been very impressive at Sincil Bank for a few years now, and Reading are having to transition a fair bit this summer, so siding with the Imps seems good value.

Lincoln vs Reading tip: Double chance – Lincoln to win or draw
