Lincoln vs Plymouth prediction

Michael Skubala’s Lincoln City began the 2025/26 League One season with a comfortable 2-0 defeat of Reading at Sincil Bank on the opening day of the campaign. However, the Imps have since suffered a 2-0 loss at newly-promoted AFC Wimbledon, before a comfortable 3-1 win away at Harrogate Town in the EFL Cup.

Plymouth Argyle came down from the Championship last season and they have lost several key players as well as manager Miron Muslic, who has been replaced by Tom Cleverley. They were beaten 3-1 by Barnsley at Home Park before a woeful performance in a 2-0 defeat away to Bolton Wanderers last weekend.

Plymouth got a morale boosting 3-2 win over Queens Park Rangers in the cup in midweek but they look a bit of a rabble at the moment, and Lincoln should be backed with their home advantage.

Lincoln vs Plymouth tip: Lincoln to win
