Lille vs Paris Saint-Germain prediction

Beginning the season with a flurry of high-scoring games, Lille have been a little more measured in their approach of late, which probably goes in their favour given that they face giants Paris Saint-Germain in this fixture.

Bruno Genesio's side lost their second league game of the season last weekend when they were defeated 0-1 at home to the impressive Lyon, but they bounced back with a 0-1 win at Roma in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday, maintaining their 100% start in that competition.

Also in European action midweek, PSG claimed an excellent late win against Catalan giants Barcelona in Spain, with substitute Goncalo Ramos scoring late on to secure a 1-2 victory.

Domestically, the French champions' only blip was a 1-0 defeat to Marseille, but such slip-ups will be a rarity for them and they can be fully expected to return to winning ways here, and likely with a clean sheet to boot.
