Lille have begun the calendar year of 2026 in woeful form as the northerners now welcome Crvena Zvezda to Stade Pierre-Mauroy in the UEFA Europa League.

Lille vs Crvena Zvezda prediction

Bruno Genesio and his Lille side come into this one on the back of a 1-1 draw with Stade Brest at Stade Pierre-Mauroy the other day. That means that the home team have won just one of their nine matches across all competitions since their mid-season winter break.

Crvena Zvezda, also known as Red Star Belgrade, have some recognisable stars, such as Marko Arnautovic, but are a generally limited side. The Serbian giants did return to the top-of-the-table domestically at the weekend with a 3-0 hammering of Zeleznicar Pancevo, away from home.

The visitors, unlike their hosts, have started this year well and will fancy themselves to pose a threat here but Lille, surely, have to remain favourites up in the north of France.

Lille vs Crvena Zvezda tip: Lille to win & both teams to score
