Libertad vs Sao Paulo prediction

Libertad, as mentioned, have started this season’s Copa Libertadores campaign very well with two wins from two against Peruvian side Alianza Lima as well as Talleres de Cordoba, of Argentina. They did, though, suffer a 3-1 defeat at home to Guarani at the weekend to end what was a 20-match unbeaten run of form across all competitions.

Sao Paulo, coached by Luis Zubeldia, most recently defeated Santos by two goals to nil at MorumBIS thanks to early strikes from both Ferreira and Andre Silva. The visitors are unbeaten in eight matches across all competitions, including the collection of four points in this competition from games against Talleres de Cordoba and Alianza Lima.

These are two of the sides that have arguably been the strongest and most difficult to play against in their opening two matches and a low-scoring affair would appear likely in Paraguay.

Libertad vs Sao Paulo tip: Under 3.5 goals
