Key Stats

  • The overall head-to-head record in five previous international matches between Liberia and Namibia is level with one win each and three draws.
  • Namibia have lost only one of their previous eight matches in the current World Cup qualifying campaign (W4 D3 *includes 3-0 awarded victory vs Equatorial Guinea).

Liberia vs Namibia Prediction

Liberia come into this one on the back of an entertaining 2-2 draw with Malawi in their most recent outing during the September international break. The Liberians have collected 11 points from their eight matches thus far, sitting four points behind Namibia with two games to go in qualification.

They now face a Namibia side that most recently dispatched of a poor Sao Tome e Principe side by three goals to nil last weekend, courtesy of a hat-trick scored by striker Peter Shalulile. Namibia are sitting second but Tunisia, the dominant side in Group H, have comfortably won their group.

Namibia will know that fending Liberia off even with a goalless draw will ensure a playoff spot as they eye up potentially working their way through the intercontinental playoffs.

Liberia vs Namibia Tip: Double chance – Namibia to win or draw & under 3.5 goals
