Levante vs Villarreal prediction

Following the appointment of former Nantes and Dunkerque boss Luis Castro during the mid-season winter break, Levante remain in the bottom three and the relegation places. They had improved initially but now come into this one on the back of a 4-2 loss to Athletic Club before a 2-0 defeat in the derby at home to Valencia.

They now face a Villarreal side that, with Marcelino at the helm, begin this catch up game back inside the top three. However, the Yellow Submarine have been out of form and their 2-1 loss to Getafe at the Coliseum the other day means that they have now managed just one win in their last seven matches across all competitions.

The poor run of form from the visitors will give Levante some hope of taking advantage of that and both teams scoring would appear a good bet for an intriguing contest.

Levante vs Villarreal tip: Both teams to score
