Levante preview: Struggling Levante

Levante begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting in the bottom three and the relegation places but they are five points adrift of safety with eight games to go after returning from the March international break with a defeat last weekend.

After a four-match unbeaten run of form, the Valencians succumbed to a 2-0 defeat to Real Sociedad at the Reale Arena in the Basque Country last weekend due to goals from Jon Martin and Brais Mendez.

Getafe preview: In the hunt for UCL

Getafe begin the 31st match day of the 2025/26 La Liga campaign sitting just outside of the top seven and the European spots in La Liga, but just four points behind the top five and the likely UEFA Champions League qualifying spots.

Getafe continued their excellent form with an impressive 2-0 defeat of Athletic Club at the Coliseum last weekend, courtesy of goals in either half from Luis Vazquez and then Martin Satriano.

Levante team news: Nothing fresh

There are no fresh injury concerns or suspension issues for Levante to deal with this weekend as they welcome Getafe to the Community of Valencia.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Ryan; Toljan, Dela, Matias Moreno, Manu Sanchez; Jon Olasagasti, Oriol Rey; Victor Garcia, Iker Losada, Tunde; Carlos Espi

Unavailable: Brugui (Injured)

Questionable: Unai Elgezabal (Injured)

Getafe team news: Mauro Arambarri suspended

Uruguay international midfielder Mauro Arambarri has been one of the best players in La Liga this season and he is now missing through suspension for Getafe with striker Borja Mayoral an injury doubt.

Predicted XI (3-4-3): David Soria; Djene, Domingos Duarte, Diego Rico; Sebastian Boselli, Luis Milla, Mario Martin, Juan Iglesias; Adrian Liso, Luis Vazquez, Martin Satriano

Unavailable: Mauro Arambarri (Suspended)

Questionable: Borja Mayoral (Injured)

Levante vs Getafe prediction

Getafe’s impressive victory against Athletic in Madrid last weekend was their sixth victory in their last seven matches; beating some real giants such as Athletic as well as Real Madrid, Villarreal and Real Betis in that run. They will try and control an often entertaining but underperforming Levante side at Estadio Ciutat de Valencia and a low-scoring away win would appear the likeliest outcome for this one this weekend.

Levante vs Getafe tip: Getafe to win & under 3.5 goals
