Levante preview: Fighting Levante
Levante started the season by putting in some impressive performances but the hosts were often too lax and gave up results from positive positions. A change in management from Julian Calero to Luis Castro has provoked an immediate improvement.
Having hammered Sevilla by three goals to nil in his opening game, Levante then shared a 1-1 draw with Espanyol a couple of weeks ago before then suffering a 2-0 loss at Real Madrid at the Bernabeu in a game in which Levante were impressive once again.
Elche preview: Strong Elche
Under the management of Eder Sarabia, Elche have been very impressive to watch throughout the campaign with a front foot and ambitious style of football that leaves them sitting tucked inside the top-half of the table in La Liga.
However, the visitors were left frustrated the other day. Elche went 2-0 up against Sevilla on Monday night, via goals from Aleix Febas and German Valera, before a late Akor Adams brace snatched the Andalusians a point at Estadio Manuel Martinez Valero.

Levante are dealing with several injury doubts for the derby against Elche with Matias Moreno potentially sidelined alongside Diego Pampin, Oriol Rey and Victor Garcia.
