Lens vs Monaco prediction

Lens, under the management of Pierre Sage, took advantage of Paris Saint-Germain's slip up last week in impressive style as they dispatched of Paris FC by five goals to nil to reclaim their seat at the top of Ligue 1, in what is proving to be an excellent campaign for the northerners.

Monaco have been generally woeful since the appointment of Sebastian Pocognoli in October but recent performances have been improved. The Monegasque were frustrated in midweek, though, as they gave up a 2-0 lead and succumbed to a 3-2 loss to PSG in the UEFA Champions League.

With the visitors preparing for that knockout playoff second-leg at the Parc des Princes this midweek, Lens will believe they can take full advantage with a home win here.

Lens vs Monaco tip: Lens to win
