Leicester City are heading into a new era following the sacking of Marti Cifuentes, with the underperforming Foxes now taking on struggling Charlton Athletic this week.

Leicester vs Charlton prediction

At the time of writing, Leicester City remain managerless following the decision to part company with Marti Cifuentes. That is because of five defeats in eight games, coming in at the end of an extremely underwhelming stint in charge that leaves the Foxes sitting firmly in the bottom-half of the Championship table.

They now face a Charlton Athletic side that started well, following their promotion via the League One playoffs. However, the Addicks have now been sliding for a while and Nathan Jones’ south Londoners are instead involved in a relegation battle down at the bottom end of the second-tier.

Charlton will be cursing their luck because their form is poor and the likelihood is that Leicester will be able to rediscover a spark without the often overly pragmatic Cifuentes.
