Legia Warsaw vs Samsunspor prediction

Polish giants Legia Warsaw, under the management of Edward Iordanescu, performed very well in this competition last season as they made it through to the quarter-finals before a defeat to eventual winners Chelsea.

They now face a Samsunspor side that qualified for the competition as a result of finishing third in the Turkish Super Lig. ‘The Red Lightning’, as they are nicknamed, are playing their first ever UEFA competition.

There is a major gulf in the European pedigree between these two and, whilst that can often mean very little, Legia would have to remain favourites for this one with their home advantage.
