Legia Warsaw vs Chelsea Prediction
Legia Warsaw come into this one on the back of a much-needed come from behind 2-1 defeat of Gornik Zabrze away from home at the weekend courtesy of a second-half brace scored by Luquinhas. They have underperformed in the Polish Ekstraklasa but have remained quite entertaining to watch with their 27 matches consisting of 86 goals.
They now face a Chelsea side that have been genuinely very poor since mid-December when Enzo Maresca began to fiddle around with what appeared to be a settled and cohesive eleven as well as the club’s hierarchy producing another bizarre winter transfer window. They did manage to defeat Copenhagen in the Round of 16 of the UEFA Europa Conference League.
It appeared to be the case that Maresca was resting players for this week’s trip to the Polish capital so a Chelsea victory is to be expected but it could be quite a high-scoring affair.
Legia Warsaw vs Chelsea Tip: Chelsea to win -1 handicap
