Leeds vs Harrogate Prediction

We have something of a west Yorkshire derby taking place at Elland Road on Saturday as League Two Harrogate Town make the trip to promotion chasers in the Championship, Leeds United, this weekend.

Leeds, who lost last season’s Championship playoff final, sit at the top-of-the-table in the second-tier still coached by former Norwich City boss Daniel Farke. However, they did give up a two-goal lead to share a frustrating 3-3 draw at Hull City last week a few days after a 1-1 draw with Blackburn Rovers on New Year’s Day.

Harrogate Town, with the EFL’s longest-serving manager Simon Weaver at the helm, have punched above their weight to establish themselves in the fourth-tier but are struggling this time around. They currently lie 21st and just a couple of places outside of the bottom two and the relegation places.

Leeds are likely to heavily rotate and despite their position in the league, supporters are impatient at the moment but it should still be a heavy and comfortable home win.

Leeds vs Harrogate Tip: Leeds to win
