Gabriel Gudmundsson has exceeded expectations in terms of his recovery and could even be involved in the squad, while Daniel James is edging back to fitness after his thigh injury.

Lukas Nmecha has a fairly minor hamstring complaint that will keep him out of this one, while Jaka Bijol should be back at some point in February.

Predicted XI (3-5-2): Darlow; Bornauw, Rodon, Struijk; Justin, Gruev, Ampadu, Stach, Bogle; Calvert-Lewin, Aaronson

Unavailable: Bijol (Injured), Nmecha (Injured)

Arsenal team news: Defensive pair fit to play

Both Jurrien Timber and William Saliba were dealing with some niggles midweek but Mikel Arteta has confirmed that both are fit to feature on Saturday.

Teenage prospect Max Dowman is the only known absentee in the Gunners camp, with Arteta boasting a number of options at his disposal across all positions.

Predicted XI (4-3-3): Raya; Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Hincapie; Odegaard, Zubimendi, Rice; Saka, Jesus, Martinelli

Leeds vs Arsenal prediction

Leeds are regularly picking up points in the Premier League and they find themselves six points clear of safety ahead of the weekend's fixtures.

Daniel Farke's men most recently contested a 1-1 draw with Everton on Monday, and they have lost just one of their last 11 games across all competitions.

Arsenal are fighting on four different fronts right now but their Premier League form has been underwhelming lately, with the Gunners winless in their last three games in the division.

The 2-3 loss at home to Man Utd last weekend was a particularly disappointing result for the Arsenal faithful, but Arteta's men followed that by defeating Kairat Almaty in the UEFA Champions League midweek, which made it eight wins from eight in the league phase.

Despite their recent strong form, a near fully-fit Arsenal should have too much for Leeds here, as they look to extend their lead at the top of the table and reassert themselves as title winners in waiting.

Leeds vs Arsenal tip: Arsenal to win to nil
