Leeds Rhinos Team News: Good news and bad

Whilst both Ash Handley and Cam Smith are out injured, Leeds Rhinos are expected to welcome back the pair of Tom Holroyd and Keenan Palasia. Joe Shorrocks remains suspended.

Squad: Lachie Miller, Harry Newman, Ryan Hall, Brodie Croft, Mikolaj Oledzki, Andy Ackers, Keenan Palasia, James Bentley, James McDonnell, Jarrod O’Connor, Sam Lisone, Morgan Gannon, Cooper Jenkins, Tom Holroyd, Jack Sinfield, Riley Lumb, Ben Littlewood, Ned McCormack, Max Simpson, Kallum Watkins, Chris Hankinson

Catalans Dragons Team News: Trio all banned

Catalans Dragons have been hit by a whopping three suspensions ahead of this contest. Alrix Da Costa, Franck Maria and Tevita Pangai Junior are all ruled out against the Rhinos.

Squad: Tommy Makinson, Arthur Romano, Reimis Smith, Nick Cotric, Luke Keary, Benjamin Garcia, Julian Bousquet, Tariq Sims, Chris Satae, Romain Navarrete, Bayley Sironen, Cesar Rouge, Paul Seguier, Jordan Dezaria, Theo Fages, Foud Yaha, Tanguy Zenon, Guillermo Aispuro-Bichet, Clement Martin, Leo Darrelatour, Ugo Tison

Leeds Rhinos vs Catalans Dragons Prediction

Although Catalans Dragons were victorious last time out, it was by just a one-point margin against rock-bottom Salford Red Devils, hardly something to celebrate. Before then, their last win on the road came all the way back in April, putting into perspective just how difficult this assignment will be for them, against third-placed Leeds Rhinos.

The hosts are hunting down Wigan Warriors in second and provided they avoid any complacency Leeds Rhinos should come out on top as they are a significantly better team than the Dragons. Boss Brad Arthur is unlikely to let his players lose focus, so expect a sizeable home victory in this one.

Leeds Rhinos vs Catalans Dragons Tip: Leeds Rhinos to win with -30.5 handicap
