Le Havre preview: Steady Le Havre

Le Havre come into this one on the back of a 2-0 loss to a still fighting Nantes side at Stade de la Beaujoire in their most recent outing last weekend due to an own goal scored by Yanis Zoauoui as well as an Ignatius Ganago penalty.

Le Havre have punched above their weight to avoid the drop in each of the last two seasons and that should become three in a row as they begin the match day sitting nine points clear of the danger zone in Ligue 1.

Paris Saint-Germain preview: At the top

Luis Enrique got lucky in midweek as Monaco again took a lead but, again, had a man sent off to allow Paris Saint-Germain to edge through by five goals to four on aggregate in the knockout playoff round of the UEFA Champions League.

The Parisians have been unconvincing throughout this campaign but they did rise back to the top-of-the-table last week, edging ahead of Lens as a result of a 3-0 hammering of Metz at the Parc des Princes last week.

Le Havre team news: Sangante suspended

Le Havre are without defender Arouna Sangante as he is missing through suspension, while the likes of Ayumu Seko and Etienne Youte are confirmed injury absentees.

Predicted XI (3-4-1-2): Diaw; Pembele, Lloris, Doucoure; Nego, Gourna-Douath, Ebonog, Zouaoui; Kechta; Soumare, Boufal

Unavailable: Sangante (Suspended), Seko (Injured), Youte (Injured), Toure (Injured)

Questionable: Zagadou (Injured)

Paris Saint-Germain team news: Key doubts

PSG have a few doubts for this one as they make the trip to the coast with Fabian Ruiz is potentially sidelined alongside Senny Mayulu and Ousmane Dembele.

Predicted XI (4-3-3): Safonov; Zaire-Emery, Zabarnyi, Beraldo, Mendes; Lee, Vitinha, Doue; Dro, Ramos, Mbaye

Unavailable: Ndjantou (Injured)

Questionable: Fabian Ruiz (Injured), Mayulu (Injured), Dembele (Injured)

Le Havre vs Paris Saint-Germain prediction

PSG have put in some very dodgy and unconvincing performances on the road and they remain locked in a really tight title race against Lens this season. The French champions do not have Coupe de France action to worry about but will still likely rotate and that could cause some problems at Stade Oceane, albeit the Parisians remain the favourites for this one.
