Le Havre have the opportunity to heap the misery on a Monaco side that are reeling from a midweek hammering at the hands of Real Madrid at the Bernabeu in midweek.

Le Havre vs Monaco prediction

Didier Digard and his Le Havre side have perhaps surpassed expectations in each of the last two seasons to steer themselves clear of the bottom three and the danger zone in Ligue 1. They are, again, being competitive in the bottom-half of Ligue 1 with a 1-1 draw with Stade Rennais meaning that they have suffered just one loss in four matches.

They now face a Monaco side that, under the management of Sebastian Pocognoli, have majorly regressed since his appointment. The Monegasque have lost seven of their last eight matches in Ligue 1 and they most recently suffered a 6-1 demolition at the hands of an almost in crisis Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League.

The writing does appear to be on the wall for Pocognoli and there is no real suggestion he can turn things around in time for their trip to Stade Oceane in Ligue 1 this week.

Le Havre vs Monaco tip: Double chance – Le Havre to win or draw
