Lazio Team News: Tavares a doubt

Nuno Tavares enjoyed a very impressive start to the campaign but he is a doubt for this weekend with Lazio also suffering from some definite absentees including centre-back Patric as well as Manuel Lazzari and Uruguay international defensive midfielder Matias Vecino.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Provedel; Hysaj, Gigot, Gila, Tavares; Guendouzi, Rovella; Isaksen, Dia, Zaccagni; Valentin Castellanos

Unavailable: Patric (Injured), Lazzari (Injured), Matias Vecino (Injured)

Questionable: Tavares (Injured)

Fiorentina Team News: Departing Kayode

Italian defender Michael Kayode is set to depart the club on an initial loan deal for Premier League side Brentford. They are still without fellow defender and club captain Cristiano Biraghi due to injury, whilst Daniel Cataldi and Jonathan Ikone are both injury doubts.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): David de Gea; Dodo, Comuzzo, Ranieri, Gosens; Adli, Mandragora; Colpani, Gudmundsson, Folorunsho; Kean

Unavailable: Biraghi (Injured), Bove (Illness)

Questionable: Cataldi (Injured), Ikone (Injured)

Lazio vs Fiorentina Prediction

Marco Baroni’s Lazio come into this one on the back of a 3-1 defeat of Real Sociedad at the Stadio Olimpico in the UEFA Europa League in midweek thanks to three goals inside the first 34 minutes from Marco Gila, Mattia Zaccagni and Valentin Castellanos. They have suffered just one defeat in their last six matches across all competitions since losing 6-0 at home to Internazionale last month. They now face a Fiorentina side that have been flirting with a title challenge this season but I Viola have now slipped outside of the top five as they are winless in their last seven matches across all competitions so Lazio, with home advantage, should be sided with here.

Lazio vs Fiorentina Tip: Lazio to win
